Signature upon receipt.
The recipient first puts his or her signature on the driver’s hand terminal. This tells you exactly who received the parcel and when. For Signature upon Receipt, you pay a surcharge on top of the standard rate for your parcel shipment.

Insured shipping.
Ship your parcels with extra security with the Insured Shipping option. This allows you to insure your shipment up to €5,000. For Insured Shipping, you pay a surcharge on top of the standard rate for your parcel shipment.
Insurance up to € 500 = € 2.95
Insurance up to € 1,000 = € 4.00
Insurance up to € 5,000 = € 0.9 of insured amount
Age check.
Want to make sure the recipient is of age? With the Age Check shipping option, the delivery driver checks by means of proof of identity that the person to whom the shipment is delivered is 18 years or older. For Age Check, you pay a surcharge on top of the standard rate for your parcel shipment.

Not with neighbours.
Do you want the parcel not to be offered to neighbours if your customer is not at home? Then choose the shipping option Not with neighbours. The next day, the parcel will be offered again. If your customer is not home the second time either, the parcel will be returned to you. For Not with neighbours, you pay a surcharge on top of the standard rate for your parcel shipment.

Hide sender on shipping label.
If you choose this shipping option, the sender’s name will not be placed on the shipping label. This can be useful if you sell products that people prefer to keep private. The sender’s address details are visible.

Do you want to offer your customers extra-fast delivery times? Choose DHL For You Today! This means parcels you drop off in the morning will be delivered to your customer the same evening between 17.30 and 22.00.

Saturday delivery.
With this shipping option, parcels are delivered on Saturdays to business addresses within the Netherlands. For Saturday delivery, you pay a surcharge on top of the standard rate for your parcel shipment.
