Age check
Sending a parcel with age check from DHL.
Add the shipping option 'Age Check' to your shipment if you want the delivery person to check the identity of the person to whom the shipment is handed over. For example, you can meet legal age requirements for products with a minimum age, such as alcoholic beverages.

For ‘Age check’ you pay a surcharge on top of the standard rate of a parcel shipment.

Set up ‘Age check’ from DHL For You Today.
- Create a new parcel shipment in the backoffice.
- Enter the address details of the recipient.
- Click on DHL For You Today at Carrier.
- Under Shipping options, choose Age check.
- Save the shipment, download and print the shipping label and stick it on the shipment.
- Hand in your shipment(s) to one of the selected DHL-locations.
